Bar Code Title Sequence

Created in collaboration with Filmsupply and Musicbed, this title sequence reimagines "Bar Code", an action thriller following a lone gunslinger as she races against time through a series of increasingly dangerous encounters. Rather than focusing on the narrative itself, the sequence builds suspense through typography and motion, with the graphic system designed to assemble like a barcode, fragmented, rhythmic, and gradually revealing meaning. Inspired by Matt Willey’s typographic work, I developed an ultra-condensed title treatment that extends into elongated graphic lines echoing the letterforms. These animated overlays slice across the frame, revealing fragments of footage, characters, movement and tension, before converging in unison to resolve into the final title.
